Success Stories

Latest figures revealed by Defra (Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) show that more of us are recycling more stuff than ever before!

In 2002/03, only 14.5% of our household waste was recycled in England, and the Government set a target to recycle 17% during 2003/04.

The good news is that nearly 18% was actually recycled or composted last year. Well done to everyone who helped smash the target!
